Native New Yorker Joyce Sims is musician, songwriter and vocalist who rose to fame on the strength of such club anthems as “Come Into My Life” (1988 worldwide top 10 hit reaching #7 in the UK), “All and All” and “Lifetime Love”.

A formally trained musician, Joyce plays a number of instruments, keyboards being only one of them. Her voice has been described as “…often enticing and enchanting…” (artistdirect.com).

Her career offers a unique perspective into the music industry having worked on projects with many well know artists including Jimmy Castor (Jimmy Castor Bunch) and Kurtis Mantronik (Mantronix). Her music has been used by some of the biggest artists in the business and in the movie “Species
Joyce Sims popularity continues to this day as she tours internationally. She continues to be loved by her worldwide fan base.

Ms. Sims is now riding the UK charts with her club classic “Lifetime Love” remixes. The single reached the number one (#1) spot on the UK Music Week Upfront Club Breakers Chart, and number 15 (#15) in the Commercial Pop Top 30 in the week of 2/28/11 – 3/6/11.

Ms. Sims has toured Overseas this past May, starting in Belgium.

Joyce is presently in her studio working with the legendary engineer Elia Tubo (R.U.N DMC, Eric B. and Rakim, Angie Stone, the list goes on), the two are working on new R&B/Dance tracks that’s sure to start the journary all over again. Look for a new CD from Joyce Sims soon!
